CONFERENCE PROGRAMME

Full details of the Conference programme will be published in September. It will include:

  • High profile speakers from national and local organisations, providing insight to the latest thinking on business growth
  • Speakers covering the latest opportunities for businesses to access contracts, markets, support and finance
  • Case studies of successful businesses we can learn from
  • Direct contacts with large organisations who are seeking new suppliers
  • An exhibition and showcase of local success stories

MAKE NEW CONNECTIONS

The Conference will include an exhibition and showcase as well as plenty of opportunities to make new connections with customers, suppliers, support organisations and potential partners. A big part of bringing 200 ambitious business leaders into one event is the learning and new opportunities this creates.

WHO IS THE CONFERENCE FOR?

The Conference is designed for small and medium sized businesses based in the Tees Valley, specifically those employing fewer than 250 staff with an annual turnover no greater than €50m per annum.

However, in order to create opportunities for these businesses to grow, we recognise the need to connect them with sources of expertise, potential customers and suppliers, support organisations and investors. With this in mind, the Conference is also open to other organisations with an interest in working with small and medium sized businesses.

WHO IS RUNNING THE CONFERENCE?

Teesside University has appointed ed/ge to develop and deliver the Conference. ed/ge is a specialist provider of innovation, business growth and finance support across the Northern Powerhouse and the team previously developed and delivered the VentureFest Tees Valley and VentureFest North East conferences.

XHIBITION OPPORTUNITIES

There will be a limited number of free exhibition spaces for business support organisations and for small and medium sized Tees Valley businesses to showcase their successes. As demand is likely to be high and space limited, we will be assessing which organisations are provided with space in September. To be considered for a space, register for the event and complete the required information in Eventbrite before 24th September 2021. One of the team will get back to you following assessment of all submissions.
